


Printmaking
Program Outline
Within this program, students will explore the mind frame and techniques of art that has been used since the invention of the printing press. They will learn a basic understanding of the print medium known as “intaglio” as well as basic watercolour. Students will create a small watercolour and then “etch” it into plexie glass and run it through a small printing press, creating an artistic print edition.

Silkscreening
Program Outline
Students will explore the world of Graphic Design and its connection with the fine arts. Participants will design a graphic, and then silkscreen it onto an item of their choice (students provide item).
